Custom art procurement for interior designers — considered paintings, sourced and authenticated to fit your brief, your palette and your deadline.
Our Story
Art is usually specified last, on a budget that has already been spent elsewhere, against an installation date that will not move — and for a client who will know the difference between a real picture and a decorative print. We have been supplying original nineteenth and twentieth-century paintings since 2001, and we are used to working to a scheme rather than to our own taste.
Framed to your scheme, not ours
This is where most art supply falls down, and it is what we do best. Frames are made and finished by hand for the individual picture and the individual room: hand-painted coloured gesso, water gilding, waxed and limed timber, profiles and widths drawn to suit the wall rather than the stockroom. Send us the palette, the panelling detail or the fabric reference and we will work to it. A good picture in the wrong frame will undo a room, and the frame is almost always the thing that makes the painting sit in your scheme.
Images you can actually present
High-resolution photography and cut-out files supplied to scale, so a picture can be dropped into your elevations and renders and shown to the client in the room before anything is committed. Condition, dimensions, framed and unframed, and sight size all confirmed in writing.
Sourced to brief
Palette, scale, period, subject, budget per wall. Much of our stock is never listed online, and beyond it we buy at auction, through the trade and privately. We will take a brief for a single wall or an entire house, and we will tell you when the right picture has not appeared rather than offering you a near-miss.
Your client stays your client
You receive a net trade price and set your own margin. We do not approach your client, and where we deliver, hang or present directly we do so at your invitation.
Site delivery and hanging
Crating, worldwide shipping, delivery to site around the programme, and hanging by people who have done it before. Conservation, restoration and insurance valuations where they are needed.

Private Residential Projects
The core of most design practices — a single statement piece for a principal room, or a considered collection built out across an entire scheme, sourced to match your palette and your client’s brief.
Country Estates
Historic and newly built estates alike call for paintings with genuine presence — a statement work for a principal hall or drawing room, or a collection built out to match the scale and history of the house.
Working with You
Most of the collections we place involve more than one advisor — an interior designer, a project manager, or your own art consultant. We are accustomed to working alongside the professionals already involved, and see our role as adding specialist knowledge to that team, not replacing it.
Professional Fine Art Sourcing
If a particular artist, period or subject is right for your collection but isn’t currently held by us, we can search on your behalf — including works not publicly listed, through contacts built over twenty-five years in the market.
How We Work
Discretion is not an afterthought for us — it is how this side of the business runs day to day.
Client names, locations and project details are never shared or used in our marketing without express permission.
Family offices, personal assistants and estate managers regularly act as our primary point of contact. We structure our process around that arrangement as a matter of course.
By named contact, encrypted email or a single point of contact within your team — whatever suits your arrangement.
