Independent Art Advisory for Corporate Collections

A corporate scheme has to clear a committee, land inside a fit-out programme, fill a great many walls at once, and still look like something better than editions bought by the metre. We have been dealing in nineteenth and twentieth-century European and American painting since 2001, and we can supply at the depth a building needs without the quality dropping between reception and the fourth floor.

Depth, from one source

Most dealers can find you one good picture. The difficulty is twenty that hang together. We hold substantial stock, much of it never listed online, and we buy continuously at auction, through the trade and privately, so a scheme can be built as a coherent group rather than assembled from whatever happens to be available on the day. We will take a brief by floor, by zone or by budget band.

Budgets that go further than clients expect

Worth saying plainly to a procurement team: in our field, original paintings by properly researched artists frequently cost less than large commissioned decorative work, and they do not date in the same way. That is an easy argument to win in a sign-off meeting, and we will give you the comparisons to make it.

Framed to the architecture

Frames are made and finished by hand for the individual picture and the individual space — hand-painted coloured gesso, water gilding, waxed timber, profiles drawn to suit the wall. A consistent framing treatment is the simplest way to make a mixed group read as one collection.

Documentation for the asset register

Every work researched and authenticated by our own team, with written condition reports, dimensions, provenance and insurance valuations supplied in a format your client’s facilities and finance teams can file without rework.

Your client stays your client

Net trade prices, your own margin, and no approach to your client from us at any stage.

Programme and afterwards

Crating, delivery to site around the programme, and installation. When a building is refitted, rebranded or given up, we are buyers as well as sellers and will give you a straight view on what the collection will realise.

    Reception & Lobby

Fine Art for Reception & Lobby

The first space a visitor sees, and the one with the least time to make an impression — a considered piece here says more about a business than any amount of signage.

    The Boardroom

    Fine Art for the Boardroom

A boardroom is looked at for hours at a time, not seconds. The right piece holds its own under that kind of attention without competing with the conversation happening in front of it.

    Executive Offices

    Fine Art for Executive Offices

A more personal brief than reception or the boardroom — a single work chosen to suit an individual’s taste as much as the wider collection’s.

    Working with You

We work with your team, not around them

Most of the collections we place involve more than one advisor — an interior designer, a project manager, or your own art consultant. We are accustomed to working alongside the professionals already involved, and see our role as adding specialist knowledge to that team, not replacing it.

    How We Work

    Quietly, and on your terms

Discretion is not an afterthought for us — it is how this side of the business runs day to day.

    Nothing Publicised

Client names, locations and project details are never shared or used in our marketing without express permission.

    Established Advisor Relationships

Family offices, personal assistants and estate managers regularly act as our primary point of contact. We structure our process around that arrangement as a matter of course.

    Communication on Your Terms

By named contact, encrypted email or a single point of contact within your team — whatever suits your arrangement.
