Ludovic Vallée Paintings
Ludovic Vallée exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1903, the Salon de la Sociéte Nationale and the Salon des Tuileries. In his early career he experimented with Pointillism to great effect and his work was highly regarded with a number of prize winning submissions to the Salons in Paris. He focused on views around Paris and its parks – often painted in sunshine with the inclusion of figures notably children. He received a number of important commissions from wealthy Parisian benefactors. In his later years he became preoccupied with still life subjects and neo-impressionism, abandoning his pointillist routes for a more contemporary style.
