Notre Dame et la Seine a Paris
by Jean Albert Pougny
Georges Redon designed several restaurants in Montmartre. He created a great many humorous illustrations, in particular concerning the motorists of the Belle Époque period, muffled up in animal furs. Redon exhibited his paintings in Paris from 1903 at the Salon des Artistres Français, receiving an honourable mention in 1904. He also exhibited at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts and at the Salon d'Automne, and he exhibited his cartoons at the Salon des Humoristes.
