Michel Korochansky was a pupil of William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury at the Académie Julian in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, obtaining an honourable mention in 1910. He also benefited from purchases by the state and the City of Paris. His muted palette enhances the changes in tonality in his landscapes.
