Louise Thuiller was a pupil of her father Pierre Thuillier and Sebastien Cornu. She exhibited at the Salon until 1877, and according to some sources, exhibited a painting of The Cours Lafayette in Toulon at the Salon of 1895. In her later years he subject and style changed from that of a traditional Orientalist painter and adopted a more blottesque technique which was close to Pointillism possibly due to failing eyesight.
