Born 10 November 1839, in Roville (Meurthe-et-Moselle); died 20 July 1912, in Dienay.

Meixmoron de Dombasle was a pupil of Joseph Louis le Borne. His style changed around 1873 when he made the acquaintance of Monet. His work was represented at the Salon des Artistes Français and obtained a distinction at the Exposition Universelle in 1900.
