Albert Braïtou-Sala studied under Adolphe Déchenaud, Henri Royer and Paul Albert Laurent. His work was exhibited in 1989 at the Palais des Papes in Avignon. He became a society portraitist and painted Paris high society but also produced figure compositions. Braïtou-Sala was a member of the Société des Artistes Français and was awarded a gold medal in 1922 and one at the Exposition Universelle of 1937. This same year he was also made a chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur.
