After studying the exact sciences, Carlo Brancaccio turned to painting, working with Edoardo Dalbono. He exhibited Passe-partout in Naples, in 1887, and Seascape in 1899 and Toledo in the Rain. In Milan in 1889, he exhibited Naples, Piazza della Carmine. He also contributed to the Paris Salon, showing The End of Winter in 1902. He contributed to the Salon in subsequent years, ending with Winter Landscape in 1907. He also exhibited in Berlin, London, Monaco and Buenos Aires. Tsar Nicholas II acquired several of his paintings.
