Dr Joachim Pissarro confirms that the work relates to another drawing by Pissarro sold at Christies In London depicting a similar subject and noting the hatched strokes and rhythmic lines used to depict the trees. The landscape featured in this work is also similar to that in "Prairie ave vaches, brume, soleil couchant a Érangy" which was executed in 1891 |
