Biography

Osvaldo Pinheiro was born in Silveiras in Brazil in 1890.

His career was short, he died in 1923 at the age of 33 in France where he had come to paint as a young man at the Academie Julian after a promising start to his artistic career in his native Brazil.

A number of his works are conserved at La Pinacoteca de São Paulo.
