1852 - 1934
Louise Landré studied under Charles Chaplin and Jean Hubert. She made her debut at the Paris Salon in 1876 and was a member of the Société des Artistes Français from 1885. Although her portraits are considered to be rather austere, her paintings of genre subjects show a more fluid style.
