Biography

Born 1850, in Rheims; died July 1912, in Gueux.

Painter, pastellist. Genre scenes, landscapes, landscapes with figures, waterscapes.
Armand Guéry was a pupil of Auguste Rigon. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, winning the Prix de Raigecourt-Goyon in 1890, a third-class medal in 1891, a second-class medal in 1894 and a jury commendation in 1900 (Exposition Universelle). He painted mainly landscapes of the Champagne region and the Ile-de-France.
