Painter, illustrator. Figures, portraits, landscapes.
André Leveillé was vice-president of the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français in Paris and exhibited his paintings there and at the Salon des Indépendants. He was a Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur. He undertook projects for works in gold and designed jewellery. He retained a hint of Cubism in his ultra-realist work in order to conserve a sense of discipline and construction.
