Charles Guilloux worked at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris and was a self-taught artist. He exhibited his works from 1892. He exhibited at the Salon of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1905, and at the Salon des Indépendants from 1911 to 1914.
