EDMUND DULAC (1882-1953) Biography

Edmund Dulac (1882-1953) was born on 22nd October 1882 in Toulouse, France. He studied at the Toulouse Art School for three years and then later at Académie Julian in Paris. He only stayed there for three weeks as he felt it would not teach him what he was neending to learn. He moved to London and started his illustration career. His illustrative works included many books, and he was also a caricaturist, decorator, portrait and landscape painter. His art is represented in several public collections.
